Exchange 2013 CU2 powoduje zmianę uprawnień przy przeniesieniu Public Folder Mailbox

Z wprowadzeniem Microsoft Exchange 2013 zmienił się sposób „obsługi” folderów publiczny.

Do tej pory foldery publiczne znajdowały się w osobnej bazie przeznaczonej tylko i wyłącznie dla folderów publicznych.

W Exchange 2013 zostało to zmienione na korzyść zapewnienia wysokiej dostępności oraz łatwiejszego zarządzania folderami publicznymi.

W Exchange 2013 foldery publiczne znajduję się w specjalnych „skrzynkach” przeznaczonych na foldery publiczne, które to skrzynki mogą znajdować się normalnie w bazie z innymi skrzynkami pocztowymi użytkowników. Dzięki temu przy zastosowaniu DAG mamy zapewnioną niezawodność rozwiązania, możemy również umieszczać foldery w różnych bazach, a nie tylko w jednej.

Cumulative Update 2 dla Exchange Server 2013 (KB2859928) wydany

W dniu dzisiejszym 09.07.2013 udostępniony został Cumulative Update 2 dla Microsoft Exchenge Server 2013.

Plik możecie pobrać tutaj:

Cumulative Update 2 for Exchange Server 2013 (KB2859928)

Rozmiar pliku to około 1,3GB oczywiście jest to pełna wersja instalacyjna Microsoft Exchange 2013 CU2.

Po instalacji CU2 dla Exchange 2013 otrzymacie wersję systemu: 15.0.712.22

Poniżej przedstawione są poprawki oraz nowe funkcje jakie wprowadza CU2, najważniejszą z nich jest zwiększenie ilości obsługiwanych baz per serwer z 50 do 100:

  • Per-server database support increased back to 100
  • OWA Silent Redirection
  • Addition of the DAG Management service
  • Changes to Managed Availability
  • Improved PowerShell Help Updating
  • OWA Search improvements
  • Malware Filter Rules

Exchange 2010 ilość połączeń RPC i OWA na serwerze CAS

Często chcielibyśmy wiedzieć ile w danym momencie mamy aktywnych połączeń na poszczególnych serwerach Exchange 2010 z rolami Client Access Server.

Informacje taką możemy uzyskać z Counter-ów dostępnych na każdym z serwerów. W prosty sposób wykorzystując Powershell możemy wyświetlić tabele z informacją o ilości aktywnych połączeń na każdym z serwerów CAS.

 

Wystarczy uruchomić Exchange Management Shell i skopiować poniższy kod:

 

$CASServers = Get-ClientAccessServer | select name

Foreach ($srv in $CASServers){
 $RPC = Get-Counter "\MSExchange RpcClientAccess\User Count" -ComputerName $srv.name
 $OWA = Get-Counter "\MSExchange OWA\Current Unique Users" -ComputerName $srv.name
 New-Object PSObject -Property @{
 Server = $srv.name
 "RPC Client Access" = $RPC.CounterSamples[0].CookedValue
 "Outlook Web App" = $OWA.CounterSamples[0].CookedValue
 }
}

 

Jeżeli tylko posiadamy uprawnienia do danych serwerów CAS to wówczas otrzymamy tabelę jak poniżej:

Niedawno udostępniona została możliwość połączeń między Lync a Skype.

Dlatego chcielibyśmy poinformować, że istnieje już strona na community.office365.com z opisem najczęściej występujących problemów podczas połączeń Lync Skype.

Na stronie tej znajdziecie opisy problemów oraz ich rozwiązania.

Możecie tam znaleźć informacje dotyczące:

Abi Maggu – This session examines the use of Microsoft Lync Online in a hybrid environment for user access, now possible with the release of Lync 2013 to Microsoft Office 365. For existing deployments, using Lync infrastructure already deployed, customers can easily expand their environment into Office 365. New deployments can also benefit by decreasing the on-premises Lync footprint and hosting users online.
