Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 RTM

Microsoft announced Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 have already obtained the status of the product RTM (Ready to Manufacturing).

Windows Server 2012 RTM this week will be delivered to vendors hardware and software developers. Then a few weeks will be available to customers of their acquired licenses SA.

On 09/04/2012 Windows 2012 RTM will be available to all customers.

08/15/2012 System will be available to developers through MSDN subscriptions

08/15/2012 the system will be available for IT professionals to test environments through TechNet subscriptions

8/16/2012 customers with Microsoft Software Assurance for Windows will be able to download the new system through Volume License Service Center

Today at the meeting of retailers of Microsoft, Steven Sinofsky announced that the new Windows 8 will be available to customers in the form of updates and a new system installed on the computers already on 26 October 2012.
